We’ve been shortlisted for two awards!

EXCITED TO BE SHORTLISTED

We’ve never really bothered with awards before, but some wonderful practitioners suggested we put Helicopter Stories On Demand forward for the Nursery World and Teach Early Years Awards, and we’ve been shortlisted for both.

However good our work is, if the settings and schools we work with didn’t do such a wonderful job helping children discover a love of story we wouldn’t be shortlisted. 

So, this is about all the teachers, practitioners and local authority advisors who help us spread the wonderful Helicopter Stories approach far and wide. And it’s about the fantastic Vivian Gussin Paley, without whom Helicopter Stories wouldn’t exist. 

We’re  always in awe of the work you do, and we get so much from being a part of it. If we win, we’ll be dedicating the award(s) to you, to Vivian Gussin Paley and to all the children you work with (and to all the children yet to discover the joy of storytelling and story acting).
