The Poetry Basket 2: Themes brings you poems created by our very own in-house team, or sourced from anonymous authors. With videos of the actions accompanying every poem your children will quickly learn a poem for the theme you are focusing on.

Themes: Dinosaurs, All About Me, Superheroes, On the Farm, Emotions, Minibeasts, Space, The Seaside, Animals and The Weather.

The Poetry Basket 2: Themes gives you:

• One years access to a series of online videos demonstrating poems and actions across ten themes. These poems can be shown directly to the children via a whiteboard, or learned by practitioners and shared face-to-face.
• Ten downloadable poetry booklets ensuring you have the words to hand when you introduce these rhymes to your children.
• Plus, if you prefer to print out the words to each poem separately we also include a downloadable A4 sheet for every poem above the video. These are handy for sending home to parents.

How The Poetry Basket 2: Seasons works

By watching the videos contained in this programme, practitioners and children learn poems and accompanying actions that connect to themes and passions they enjoy.

The poems are between 4 and 8 lines long making them easy to remember for even the youngest of children. During each video, the poem is repeated three times to help cement it to memory.

Poetry Basket 2: Themes is suitable for Teachers, Early Years Practitioners, Childminders, Parents and Carers of children aged 2 to 7. The programme is payable by annual subscription. The subscription can be cancelled at anytime and you will still have access to the programme for a full year from the date purchased.
